THIS PICTURE OF OLIVIA WAS TAKEN ON THE 18TH JULY 2006 - 9 DAYS BEFORE SHE WAS TAKEN FROM HER
FAMILY

Olivia Jane Whiteside - also known as "Dolly"

Born 9th May 1999

DIED 27th JULY 2006 - aged 7 years

Olivia lived in Blackburn, Lancashire
Olivia has a younger sister called Hollie and many cousins

Olivia was the victim of a hit and run to which she died as a result of her injuries.

"THANK YOU OLIVIA FOR SHARING OUR LIFE AND FOR GIVING US THE MEMORIES THAT WE HAVE OF
YOU".

Olivia was our lovely little niece who everyone adored; Auntie Tracy was there when she was born
together with her Nanna; Olivia enjoyed visiting all her family; she loved her younger sister Hollie
and loved listening to CD's with her mum; she would stay with her Uncle Kev, Auntie Tracy &
Cousin Natalie; she also stayed with her Auntie Emma and cousin Lewis; she visited her Auntie Jane,
Uncle David, Auntie Kim and Uncle Kev in Gloucester together with her cousins Nick, Sophie and
Thomas. Natalie was very close to Olivia. She treat Olivia like her sister.

Olivia was adored by many, too many to name; she has a special place in her Uncle Anthony and Auntie
Joanne's heart too.

She was a very bright child who had an adorable cheeky grin; she was full of life and meant the
world to each and every one of her family. She had a caring nature always looking out for her
cousin Lewis and sister Hollie; she never moaned and just got on with life, enjoying every minute of
every day; she was full of energy and from the time she got up to the time she went to bed she
smiled.

She was tragically taken from us last year, one summer night whilst she played out with her cousin
Lewis on a quiet area not far from her Auntie's home; they were playing a ball game when a 4x4
knocked Olivia down and drove off leaving her for dead. She died not long afterwards the
incident.

The pain has never left any of us; there is a hole in all our hearts and that will never mend. All
we can pray for is that Olivia is looking down on us; seeing us through each day and walking by our
sides where ever we go.

MISS YOU LOADS SWEETHEART FROM ALL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS

There is a place in every heart,
They call it Memory Lane,
Where thoughts of loved ones lost
Forever will remain.

God made this special place
When He first created man,
For He knew it would be needed,
As part of our life's plan.

He knew when loved ones left us,
We'd need some time to heal,
To come to terms with sorrow
And the loneliness we'd feel.

So when you lose a loved one
And your life is filled with pain,
The comfort of their presence
Will be found in Memory Lane.

And cherished memories never fade
Because a loved ones gone.
Those we love can never be
More than a thought apart,
For as long as there is memory
They'll live on in the heart..

Our beautiful niece Olivia

Hiya dolly; not spoke to you for a while; we've had trouble getting on your site; feels like ages since I have visited you.

Anyway hope you are okay; did you like all your Christmas presents; I bet you did; mummy went to your tree on Christmas Day and gave you a present; hope you liked it.

Seems ages since Christmas now dolly; you'd still be playing with your toys.

Uncle Kev is okay and so is Natalie. They both miss you like mad dolly as all your family does.

Went to see Auntie Kim, Uncle Kev, Sophie and Thomas last week. They are all fine. Guess what they have a dog and it is like Bodger but a different colour. He is very good, not like Bodger who is mad. You would like him cos you loved Bodger.

I saw Sophie; she is beautiful too; she has pink in her hair now; it is really cool. Tom is okay, his hair is long now and black but he suits it. More Kez is still funny and Auntie Kim is still little. We had a good time, auntie Kim has lots of pics of you around her house - everywhere you look.

Hollie is still mad but funny.

What you been up to. It is very bad weather. Have you got your long socks on.

I wonder if you can see us all down here; you would laugh your head off no doubt at what you see.

You know dolly it seems like yesterday you were taken but it seems ages since we've seen your face. I sit there sometime trying to remember what you sounded like, wondering how tall you would be now, how big your feet would be, whether your hair would have gone blonder - basically I just wonder - what if. You'd be 9 this year. What a waste eh you being taken but obviously you were needed up there to do alot of work. He only takes the best dolly.

Anyway dolly i will leave it there. We think about you every single day. We miss you lots and love you millions. If only we could tell you that, hopefully if you are looking down you will see how many times we talk about you and how often we still shed our tears. No doubt we will cry for a long time yet.

Love you dolly

An angel here, an angel there,
I'm surrounded by angels everywhere.
When I'm in the middle of a terrible storm
They come with their candles to keep me warm.
An angel to comfort, an angel to guide,
An angel to fill that dark hole inside.
An angel to cry on, an angel who cares,
I'm surrounded by angels, everywhere.
The angels who reach out when times are rough
Who'll listen to my heartache
and all kinds of stuff
Bright in the sunshine and in dark of night
The angels surround me with comforting light.
I guess God is busy and can't come on down
To give me a smile and take care of my frown
So He sent a few angels to brighten my day
And help to carry my burdens away.
So thank you, dear angels, more than you'll know
For watering the happiness and making it grow!

I see the countless Christmas trees
around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars,
reflecting on the snow

The sight is so spectacular,
please wipe away the tear
For I am spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

I hear the many Christmas songs
that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can't compare
with the Christmas choir up here.

I have no words to tell you,
the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description,
to hear the angels sing.

I know how much you miss me,
I see the pain inside your heart.
But I am not so far away,
We really aren't apart.

So dont be sad, dear ones,
You know I hold you dear.
I'm spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

I sent you each a special gift,
from my heavenly home above.
I sent you each a memory
of my undying love.

After all, love is a gift
more precious than pure gold.
was always most important
the stories Jesus told.

Please love and keep each other,
my Father said to do.
I can't count the blessing or love
has for each of you.

So have a Merry Christmas
and Wipe away that tear
Remember, I am spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

Gone but Not Forgotten
Dedicated To Olivia

You were so full of life,
Always smiling and carefree,
Life loved you being a part of it,
And I loved you being a part of me.
You could make anyone laugh,
If they were having a bad day,
No matter how sad I was,
You could take the hurt away.
Nothing could every stop you,
Or even make you fall,
You were ready to take on the world,
Ready to do it all.
But God decided he needed you,
So from this world you left,
But you took a piece of all of us,
Our hearts are what you kept.
Your seat is now empty,
And it's hard not to see your face,
But please always know this,
No one will ever take your place.
You left without a warning,
Not even saying good-bye,
And I can't seem to stop,
Asking the question why?
Nothing will ever be the same,
The halls are empty without your laughter,
But I know you're in Heaven,
Watching over us and looking after.
I didn't see this coming,
It hit me by surprise,
And when you left this world,
A small part of me died.
Your smile could brighten anyone's day,
No matter what they were going through,
And I know everyday for the rest of my life,
I'll be missing you.

Olivia

Not spoke to you for a while dolly so here goes.

Missing you as always; thinking about you every day; its hard buying the presents for the other children and not buying you one; I still look at the bratz toys and think of you; you loved Xmas; now its just a sad time for us; I like Christmas cos I get excited for Nats but we always have you in our minds. You used to bring some of your toys up and play with them depending on what day we had you. Your mum used to love playing with them; she likes toys lol. She loved baby annebell; poor hollie never got a look in on her birthday; your mum was just feeding it all the time and then wondered why it was leaking.

Hollie was really good at her party; she offered everyone food so no one went hungry. Sorry dolly mummy never made any buttered tea cakes!

I've seen a few things for your tree; we will come up Xmas Eve; it maybe that I bring mummy up Xmas day as we have got mummy this year.

Uncle Kev is fine; he was 40th last friday and he got loads of presents and I mean loads; he did really well; Auntie Kim came up to surprise him and he was surprised; his face was a picture.

Seen Lewis at Hollie's party; he is getting tall. He mentions your name often dolly.

I hope you are okay dolly; I often wonder whether you are looking down on us all laughing at us all or shaking your head at us. I wonder what you are thinking.

I hope you have got lots of friends up there dolly; I am sure you have.

We miss you loads dolly; wish we could turn back time and have you here with us this xmas; I am gonna buy a christmas candle and light it all day; it will be my 'dolly candle'.

Did mummy tell you that when Lola had her babies we named one after you; you know that all our dogs start off with Bellolabo well when Lola had her little girl we called her 'Bellolabo Dolly Mixture' but her owners call her cassie because the Bellolabo bit is her other name. Mummy liked it and said we could use your name. Cassie is going to go in the show ring so if she wins everyone will know it was Bellolabo Dolly Mixture.

Anyway dolly dimps time for me to sign off or I will write to you all night. Don't forget princess we love you lots and loads and lots and miss you more than you will ever know.

Sleep tight
Uncle Kev, Auntie Tracy & Nats

I'm not very big
In fact I'm quite small
I sit on your shoulder
And I hear when you call.

I go everywhere with you
though you can't see me
I am with you always
Even in your dreams.

I share your laughter
Dry your tears when you cry
And every day I'm so proud
'Cause I see how hard you try.

I don't have a name
and I'll never grow older
But, for as long as you live
I'll be your little Angel on your shoulder.

Over the rainbow, way up high,
past fluffy white clouds the angel babies fly.
With the sun's golden rays shining bright overhead,
tumble and bumble they bounce out of bed.
Good morning, sun! The day has begun!
With delicate wings and sweet little faces,
they dance and they play and they race flying races.
Then, swooping and looping down through a cloud,
or sliding and riding and singing out loud,
wiggle and giggle some fast and some slow,
the angel babies fly to the earth down below.
Not everyone knows this, but truly it's true --
little angel babies have big jobs to do!
In gardens and meadows, they coax forth the flowers
with sunlight and love and gentle rain showers.
In fields and forests they spread soft white wings,
sharing kindness and joy with all living things.
Small animal babies in quiet green places
rejoice in warm smiles from sweet angel faces.
In backyards and baskets, on fireside rugs,
small creatures are cuddles in soft angel hugs.
Soon evening is bright with red-orange light,
and day slowly fades to make way for the night.
As good little children curl up in their beds,
the angels bring sweet dreams to young sleepyheads.
Then the sound of a horn only angels can hear
calls out to them all -- here and there, far and near.
It beckons them back from wherever they roam:
Work is done for the day! Now it's time to go home.
Blinking and winking, bright stars in the sky
twinkle and shine as the angels fly by -- so softly singing a sweet lullaby.
Yawning and stretching, they climb in their beds.
Cloud blankets warm bodies, cloud pillows rest heads.
Snuggled in tight with the moon shining bright
sleep tight, sweet dreams, good night. Good night, angel babie.
Good Night.
